Scouts

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America,
incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to
provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character,
to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to
develop personal fitness.
 |
Boy Scout Troop 255
is now chartered to St. Paul's. The Troop meets in the Parish Hall on Mondays, at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to conducting the regular Scouting Program, the Troop
assists the Parish by participating in various service projects and
fundraisers. For more

NEW EAGLE SCOUTS
SCOUT ADVENT DAY (Saturday,
December 1, 2007)
All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire boys and girls,
and siblings, ages 6 – 12!!! On Saturday, Dec. 1st, 2007, come take part in an afternoon of fun
crafts and activities and learn about the Advent Season. Cost is only $5
per person. Snacks and a participation patch (along with completed
crafts) will be provided. At the conclusion of the afternoon’s
activities, the Scouts will also have the opportunity to participate in
the 5:30 P.M. Mass, which will include the presentation of Scout
Religious Awards. Wear your uniform, join us for a day and evening
of Holiday fun and fellowship, and celebrate the accomplishments of your
fellow scouts during this most blessed season. Contact Judy Glennon at

religious awards program will be on Sunday, 9 Dec.
2007, at 3:30 PM in the
religious education building. If your son or daughter is working on a
religious award, has completed his/her program and
needs to submit the documentation for review, or if you have questions
about the program, stop by on the 9th.)
